The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s financial markets regulator and supervisor, has today published its latest edition of the Spotlight on Markets Newsletter.

Your one-stop-shop in the world of EU financial markets focused in June on ESMA’s Final Report on Greenwashing, the 2023 Annual Report and other important updates in the realm of the Regulation on the Markets in Crypto-Assets or MiCA.

On the latter, ESMA released its Final Report and Guidelines on suitability of management body members and shareholders. In addition, the ESAs also published a joint Opinion on the assessment of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and opened registrations for the Consumer Protection Day.

This issue of the Newsletter also covers the Final Report on the Guidelines on Enforcement of Sustainability Information and a Public Statement on the first application of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
